ప్రజలను మబ్బెపెడుతున్నారు

ప్రత్యేక తెలంగాణ వస్తే మాత్రం, ఆ ప్రాంతం బాగుపడిపోతుందా? ఈ విషయమై ఆలోచించాకే ప్రజలు వేర్పాటువాదాన్ని సమర్థించాలని నా మనవి. కాని, ఊరికే భావోద్వేగాలకు లోనై, ప్రాంతీయ అభిమానాన్ని రెచ్చగొడుతున్న రాజకీయ నక్కల మాటల వలలో పడి మనం గొర్రలు కానవసరం లేదు.

అంతర్జాలంలో తెలంగాణపై జరుగుతున్న చర్చలలో, తాడేపల్లి గారి కలగూరగంపలోని సమైక్యానికి సౌహార్ద పునాది అనే టపాలో LBS గారి వ్యాఖ్యను గమనించండి.

If this movement is all about people’s problems, I would not have disagreed. It all started with Congress internal power politics during the 1960”s soon after the formation of the State. The Telangana Congress leaders have since been successfully transferring their political frustrations and disppointments to the ordinary Telangana public. They made them identify with their cause by talking about people”s unemployment and squarely attributed it to non-Telanagana People. They made good money in their political posts in the last 53 years. Not only that, they made their sons and daughters too as MLAs and MPs and even Ministers. But the responsibility of developing Telangana is not theirs.

Whenever there is no Telangana CM in sight, a great hue and cry starts in Telangana. In this connection you will do well to remember that there has been no Telangana CM for the last 27 years. But simultaneously there has been no Coasta CM either for the last 20 years. But the Coastals never complained. They won’t. There are many things as these, but it has been a headache with the Telangana leaders to read regional discrimination in everything that takes place in the State. I feel this mindset should change. Otherwise, even a separate Telangana will fail to survive. They will play the same regional game with the Telangana govt as they are playing now with AP Govt. I personally know of a Palamurian who hates everyone outside his district.

If these leaders are so concerned about Telangana people’s woes, what are they doing, while they themselves are in power as MLAs and MPs and Ministers ? They do nothing for Telangana. Nor do they have any will. The Non-Telangana regions are their favourite whipping boy, their lame excuse. The Telangana people will surely come to know of this bluff sooner or later.

Water scarcity, jobs etc, these are not the problems peculiar to Telangana only. These are there everywhere in the world. But trying to cook up a separatist ideology on their basis is the worst unpardonable perversion. Actually there are no jobs in the Telugu Coasta and Rayalaseema. That’s why they migrate to Hyderabad. Government neglected all regions and developed Hyderabad only. This is what we should fight, not each other.

The non-Telangana people never had a State of their own in thier 1000 years of history. They have always been part of some other foreign empire. Even now they are part of India and a bigger State called Andhra Pradesh. Nothing was specially given to them by anybody. But if they developed as little as they did, they owe it purely to their own personal sweat of the brow and God’s grace.

తెలుగువారందరము ఒక్కరమే. కలిసుంటే కలదు సుఖం. సమైక్యాంధ్రనే మనం ఆశిద్దాం.
